August 29th - Open House

  This has already been an eventful week in Rm. 319.  On Monday, we conducted an experiment to investigate how to best inflate a balloon using yeast, different varieties of sugar and water bottles.  We had a great time and learned a lot about the scientific method.  Thank you to Danae's family for providing so many materials for our experiment!
  Tonight, the excitement continues with open house being held from 6 to 8 pm.  We invite everyone to visit us in our classrooms, in the cafeteria for informative assemblies, and in the library for our Scholastic Book Fair. 
 Please remember that there is no school Monday in celebration of Labor Day.  On Tuesday, students will be taking Mid-Quarter Progress Reports home.  Please sign and return them, or write me a short note indicating you recieved them, by Friday, September 7th.
